We encourage you to organize a World’s Biggest Mental Health Check-in event for your office, site, or team.
Hosting an event is a great way to bring people together to check in, reconnect, and share stories about mental health and resilience.
The event is yours to host in a way that is meaningful to you and your team. You might organise a check-in over lunch, a morning/afternoon tea, a fun activity or come together to broadcast one of our online live events. Think about what you can do and how you can encourage everyone to take a mental health check-in on October 10.

Planning
Decide how you want to celebrate the #WBMCHI and start planning.
World Mental Health Day is October 10, but you can host an event anytime between October 9 and 13.
Use one of our invite templates below to spread the word about your event.
Set up
Use our posters, presentations, and other downloadable resources to decorate your event space.
Be sure to have plenty of QR postcards (below) available so people can easily access the check in tool.
Check-in
After welcoming guests to your event, encourage them to take a check-in.
Make the event personal by sharing why mental health and checking in is important to you and invite others to share their stories.
Share
Thank everyone for attending the event and encourage them to share the World’s Biggest Mental Check-in with their networks.

Celebrate World Mental Health Day on October 10 in-person with us.
On October 10, we celebrate World Mental Health Day – an opportunity to raise awareness for mental health and mental illness and drive positive change for everyone. As more and more people begin coming back to the office, we wanted to take this opportunity to get together in-person.
Join us on Tuesday, October 10, from (LOCAL START TIME) to (LOCAL END TIME) to check-in on your mental health and watch the live event. We will meet in the (CITY/TOWN) Office in the (ROOM NAME). We can’t wait to see you there!
If you’re unable to make it in-person, you can still participate in the World’s Biggest Mental Health Check-In from wherever you are. Here’s a few ways you can celebrate World Mental Health Day this year:
- Complete a short or long check-in on our One Million Lives tool
- Watch one of our live calls
- Reach out to someone you know personally and check-in on them
- Use our Microsoft Teams background
- Post on social media for your networks
